Das ehrenamtliche Team Regenbogenhaus begrüsst dich und zeigt dir unsere Räume. Du erkennst das Team an den pinken Schlüsselbänder um den Hals.Was kannst du bei uns machen?Du kannst dich mit Leuten austauschen\, dich einfach ausruhen\, Bücher in der Bibliothek anschauen und ausleihen\, unser Flyer Regal durchstöbern\, die Magazine und Broschüren anschauen und mitnehmen. Du kannst Fragen stellen\, die wir versuchen zu beantworten. Wir haben auch viele Spiele und Puzzles hier und bieten ab und zu spezifische Aktivitäten an (diese findest du im Eventkalender). Zudem ist es möglich dich auf der Toilette umzuziehen und dich bei uns zu schminken. \nManchmal ist es sehr ruhig bei uns und manchmal hat es viele Leute und ist eher laut. \nEs gibt immer kostenlose Snacks und Getränke für alle.SozialberatungJeden Mittwoch von 15:00-19:00 Uhr ist zudem Reto für eine kostenlose\, professionelle und vertrauliche Sozialberatung vor Ort. Themen wie Gesundheit\, Psyche\, Arbeit\, Finanzen\, Wohnen\, Versicherungen und andere Themen können mit Reto besprochen werden. You can recognize the team by the pink lanyards around their necks. \nWhat can you do here?You can chat with people\, just relax\, browse and borrow books from the library\, rummage through our flyer rack\, look at the magazines and brochures and take them with you. You can ask questions\, which we will try to answer. We also have lots of games and puzzles here and offer specific activities from time to time (you can find these in the event calender). It is also possible to change your clothes and apply make-up here. \nSometimes it is very quiet here and sometimes there are lots of people and it is rather noisy. \nThere are alyways snacks and drinks for everyone.Social counsellingEvery Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.\, Reto is also on site for free\,professional and confidential social counselling. Topics such as health\, mentalhealth\, work\, finances\, housing\, insurance and other issues can be discussedwith Reto. SUMMARY:Queermix:  Queer English Discussion Group
DESCRIPTION:Queermix: Queer EnglishDiscussion Group  \nQueermix is a loosely moderated English discussion group every first Wednesday of the month. The topics get suggested by the group and set in advance. If you want to know what the topic is\, you can ask in an email a week before the group. The event is held at the Regenbogenhaus Zürich (Rainbow House) in the Rooms: House of Books and House of Fluid. The group is open to all and any queer or questioning individuals. No registration necessary\, just drop by! \nThe group usually follows the same structure. It starts with general information and a greeting followed by an introduction round including names\, pronouns and everyone’s queer identity. Followed by a topic introduction and short input which leads to an open discussion lasting ca. 85 minutes\, with a 20-minute break in the middle. The group gets concluded with a Take-Away-Round. Where everyone is free to make a finishing statement\, share something that stuck with them or give Feedback and topic suggestions.Offered by Queermix\, a group of  HAZ – Queer Zürich at Regenbogenhaus.Contact: queermix@haz.ch

DESCRIPTION:The English Language LGBT Book Club has launched an LGBT Sci-Fi book club group\, that will meet once a month. \nThe LGBT Sci-Fi & Fantasy group of the English Language LGBT Book Club Zurich\, will discuss this book today: \nMore Information will follow**The event takes place in the rooms of the Regenbogenhaus\, which is open from 15h00-19h00 on Wednesdays. You're welcome to visit the library\, before the book discussion in the House of Color**Reminder: The Sci-Fi & Fantasy books group meets monthly\, and has an initial limit of 12 person (due to venue size at the Regenbogenhaus). \nThe Sci-Fi Fantasy group also has a separate Whatsapp Group chat\, and Excel sheet for suggesting and voting on books to read.Suggest books and vote here. \nAs space is limited\, it is best toregister on the meetup app\, where we will also have a waiting list in case morepeople sign up than we have space for.
